Walking and Cycling
Right on the doorstep, you have access to The Severn Way and Offa's Dyke Path.
The Local roads are ideal for casual and serious cycling. Sustrans route 81 is very close by.
Eating out
There is the Punch Bowl Pub within walking Distance but there are plenty of choices within a short drive. The Bradford Arms at Llanymynech, the Olde Hand and Diamond in Coedway and the Admiral Rodney at the foot of Criggion.

Canoeing and kayaking
The river seven is a few hundred metres down the road. The river is navigable in a canoe or kayak.
Shopping
We all love a wander around the shops. We are lucky to have Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Welshpool within a few miles.
Shooting and fishing
Haimwood shooting ground caters for the dead eye dick amongst us, but also beginners are welcome to try their hand at clay pigeon shooting.
